fatfat fosters kittens!

Fatfat is the coolest cat in the world and i loveeeeee him so much! When he was a kitten he was insane and annoying but now as he reaches middle age he has become calm, mellow, super tolerant, and patient. You can bother him all you want and he won't get mad. He's the best sleeping companion ever. He's easy to please, he just wants food all the time. We've been through a lot together, my fatty and me. He's turning 8 years old this year. We've gone through college together, boyfriends, different homes, drama, different jobs.. He's been the most constant thing in my life. He's the first cat that adopted me after I moved to Malaysia. So many funny little things make him special to me but i won't bore you with details. I want to share what i think is the SWEETEST thing about him.

I believe he suffers from gender identity crisis. My darling fatty is a girl-cat trapped in a boy-cat's body. Yes its true. If he could have a sex change, how wonderful that would be. I think he wants nothing more than to be a mother and honestly, he'd be a terrific one. He is THE MOST MATERNAL CAT i have EVER met! More than the ladies.

When i bring foster kittens home, fatfat welcomes them with open arms. He provides a warm body for them to cuddle up to, a wise and guiding paw, motherly grooming sessions, and even, wait for it...

a nipple.

yupyup you read right. fatfat nurses kittens. of course he doesn't have any milk but the kittens enjoy the act of nursing anyway. he's like a pacifier for a baby. he's a source of comfort and security for those tiny kittens that have come into this cruel world alone. ok, some of the kittens aren't so tiny.. some of them get sooo attached to fatfat they continue this relationship for a long, long time but he never pushes them away. such a sweetie..















Isn't my fatty boy just terrific? He's the BEST!!
