Happy Chinese New Year and SHUT UP!!!!

As we all prepare for our family gatherings and reunion dinners this Chinese New Year please don't forget to spare a thought for the animals that are not there with you in the safety of your homes and shelters.

Chinese New Year may be a festive time for us but it's pretty damn scary for animals, homeless or not. This is because of all the stupid fireworks and dumbass firecrackers. They're insanely loud, smell like shit, and are just a damn bloody nuisance. Noise pollution and air pollution are all that result. I think the world is noisy and smelly enough thank you very much. I'd also like to remind you, my fellow ethnic Chinese Malaysians, that fireworks and crackers are ILLEGAL and also dangerous to yourselves and other people around you. Let's get through one year without some child or grown-up moron somewhere losing his fingers, hands, and eyesight shall we?

And don't mess around with that crap in my neighborhood. I'll call the cops. My dogs HATE the stupid explosions. If any of you are so eager to lose your fingers, save your money, don't buy firecrackers, i'll chop off your fingers for free.

If any of you are eating out, please don't order any weird illegal crap or sharksfin. If you do, you'll be reincarnated as toilet paper and i will wipe my ass with you everyday. Make sure your soups contain artificial sharksfin or none at all. A braised seafood soup without sharksfin tastes just as good. The flavor is in the seasoning, not the sharksfin. Sharksfin is a gelatinous, cartilage-like material and it actually has no flavor of its own. MG Cafe in Desa Sri Hartamas has three full reunion set dinner menus with all vegetarian dishes. How about giving that a shot during one of these 15 chinese new year nights :)

Happy New Year to you and all animals everywhere!

In the UK fireworks are legal (not firecrackers though) and it's like living in a warzone on Bonfire Night in November through to New Years Eve. We've been trying to get fireworks on sale to the public banned, but no one wants to know. Every year animals and people are scared out of their skins due to people having fireworks parties in their gardens. Not to mention the inevitable horror stories of deliberate cruelty to animals using fireworks. It sucks.
