you know what bothers me? people who call themselves animal lovers but only have love for purebred/pedigree animals. that's just the hugest load of crap ever. its like saying you'd only love your child if you knew it was going to grow up to be a supermodel. i want to know where the compassion is in that? there are tons of hypocrites like that in malaysia. people are always going around claiming to be animal rescuers/volunteers and blah blah blah... but when you actually talk to them, they have like a siberian husky, 3 rhodesian ridgebacks imported from australia, an irish setter, an afghan hound, and would NEVER EVER adopt a mutt. so, only inbred animals are worthy of love and care? fuck that. that's bullshit. compassion my ass.
oh and before i forget. here's a big "fuck you up the ass with a sharp stick" to the guy that commented on molly's adoption profile last year on petfinder.my and said that i should put her down because no one would want a 3-legged mutt. i hope you lose a leg and your family opts to put you down coz you're just too darn troublesome and ugly.

hahahahah its ok! i get cranky.. i try to hold my tongue when i meet idiots face to face but its soooo hard to be polite when all i want to do is throttle them. its good to vent here.. :)
it's a harsh world out there. i can understand that people want to know what they're getting - like temperament/size/etc. - but then ADOPT FROM A RESCUE!!! come on - that's the perk - we go through all the hard work, figuring out what their bad habits hare and fixing them, feeding them when they are too lethargic from meds/abuse/etc so they can get some meat on their bones. have an awesome day!!!
oh p.s. no Amanda didn't give birth in my home but she will in my friend's in the next week or so- I've never done it either so I wasn't quite up to the commitment. Jane and 6 week old babes will be awesome enough!!
YEAH! Keep going!!!! :) I mean, ok - I'm a "pure bred" but still a rescue and my hoomans love all kinds of animals... My mom even catches cockroaches and sets them free because she can't kill them. And what's wrong with 3 legs?! We met one with only 3 legs in the park - he was such a fun and FAST guy. It was amazing!!

molly's really fast too!! i can't outrun her! i don't know how she manages to sprint so fast when she's just got that one hind leg to hop around on. it must be really strong.
So, so true! Some people are so shallow and ignorant ... try not to let them get to you. BTW ... I've known some super fast three-legged animals, too! :)
