One girl, missing in action.

hola gente, mis amigos, y awesome followers!
i know i've been bad. sorry just haven't had much to report. i have not rescued any furkids since little boo was adopted. not because i don't want to, but because i haven't come across any furkids that need my help. their absence is both disconcerting and comforting; part of me would like to think that there are less unspayed animals breeding uncontrollably in the dangerous streets and producing more unfortunate strays. another part of me worries that they have all been snatched up by city council pound workers. we know what happens to innocents there. check my previous posts about the local pounds if you don't. also i have lost some of my drive.... sorry but its true.. since i lost my molly i have not been able to bring myself to rejoin the animal welfare community. hope you are all well though and thank you for following! will update once i've rescued another unfortunate tyke.

Buenos Dios de la Muertas, Happy Halloween, and a blessed Deepavali to you, too!

My felines are wishing (from underneath furniture) that our neighbours could manage to celebrate Deepavali without fireworks. They'll at least have a couple of months to regroup before Chinese New Year. :-)
Hoping there's peace in your household...

Thanks for this post. Losing your drive can also be a little bit of pre-stage burnout. It is so easy to get depeted with helping stray/homeless animals. I really commend you for all you have done. I think the lull might be simply that the powers of the Universe are giving you a rest!

For all you folks and animals reading this my blog has stories and information helpful for cat helpers everywhere. Let your ‘beans know!

I pray that all cat blogosphere kitties stay well!

We totally understand. Please take the time you need to recharge and refresh. We will all still be here whenever you get back. :)

We would like to think people were being more responsible, but we both know that is not very likely.
I understand how you feel, we sometimes get so down hearted with so many totaly irrisponsible people who take animals and have no idea how to look after them and do not care anyway. They somehow do not see them as a life.
Take care of yourself I do hope you feel better soon for what we do you do need to be in the right frame of mind.
Did they ever get anyone for the murder of the lady from the rescue centre.

:( we always hope things get better but mostly they don't. It's a nasty world out there! But we send you some happy thoughts and hope you will be feeling better soon.

My mum and me are back in the blog world after a looooong break... During this time my mum made this calendar for an Australian rescue organisation - have a look
